Mediumwave infrared heaters are gently glowing infrared heaters that provide a balance between low-energy far infrared for indoors and high-intensity near infrared for the most exposed locations. Mediumwave heaters achieve a balance of vigour and comfort using mid-temperature carbon elements that are equal to the task of a chilly warehouse or workshop, where a far infrared heater might flounder, but won’t give you the same overwhelming experience of heat as a near infrared heater, so you can use them comfortably for hours on end. Mid-wave heaters are ideal for workshops, warehouses and restaurant courtyards, helping to offset the cold without becoming overbearing. Carbon bulbs usually last longer too, and are not quite as bright as the tungsten filaments used in nearinfrared heaters, providing a more discreet and durable solution.
