Installing the Heatglo outside will require the services of a professional electrician, as the heater must be hardwired to the mains. It is important to note that this is not a DIY task.
It is possible to use the brackets provided to ceiling mount the Heatglo. For more information, please see the installation instructions in the manual. Please ensure that the Heatglo is installed more than 180cm from the floor and 40cm away from any adjacent surfaces.
The IPX4 rating of this patio heater means that the Heatglo is protected from water splashes from any direction. We recommend installing this patio heater under a shelter to ensure extra protection against harsher weather conditions. If you are looking to heat more exposed areas, you may require a patio heater with a higher protection rating.
