This thermostat requires 2xAAA batteries for operation and can be wall mounted DIY. Ideally, it should be fitted away from bright sunlight or draughts, which may skew temperature readings. Please be aware that radio interference can occur where the thermostat is installed near TVs or computers. The range of the thermostat’s frequency is 20m, taking into account any obstruction caused by walls and furniture.

Receivers can accommodate a load of 13 Amps. Dimensions of the thermostat are 120 x 83 x 20mm (WxHxD) and each receiver has dimensions of 69 x 139 x 45mm (WxHxD).

Celect thermostats and receivers are not suitable for installation in bathrooms or anywhere they will be exposed to water.

How does it work?

Whenever you make an adjustment to your heating through the thermostat, a radio signal is sent to the receivers, which relays this information to each plugged-in heater. By using a programmable thermostat, you can restrict your energy usage only to times when it’s needed and greatly reduce the running cost of your heating.

Modes & Features

The digital programming function provided by the Celect allows you to create a heating schedule that fits perfectly around your lifestyle. With eight pre-set programs and eight custom programs available, you can create a schedule to fit every day of the week, suiting your routine to a tee. This means you can programme your heating to follow your work pattern Monday to Friday, and then choose a different pattern for weekends, taking into account your increased spare time. Your heating can even be programmed on an hourly basis for a system you can depend on 24 hours a day.

Other modes accessible from the thermostat menu are a manual mode, which temporarily overrides your programmed schedule and an automatic frost protection mode which ensures the heater switches on when the ambient temperature dips below 5 °C.

The Celect thermostat has a large LCD screen and easy-use buttons to make adjusting your system as simple as possible. The thermostat is accurate to ± 0.5 °C and can control temperatures between 5 – 35 °C, making it ideal for most home and commercial applications. A 1 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty is included as standard.

Technical Specifications

The Celect CC852 Wireless Thermostat can be purchased as a bundle with up to four receivers and each receiver can support a load of 13 Amps. An additional receiver will need to be purchased for every heater you wish to use with the Celect thermostat. The Celect receiver can be plugged into any standard 13A socket and your heaters plug directly into the receivers themselves. The thermostat takes 2xAAA batteries and can be wall mounted DIY in a suitable location. Please note that Celect thermostats and receivers are only IP30 rated and are not suitable for installation in bathrooms or anywhere they will be exposed to splashes of water.
